To achieve the goal of providing high-quality monitoring data, the Coastal Ocean Monitoring Center (COMC) has established a comprehensive operational procedure covering all stages — from monitoring system planning and design, system development, construction supervision, operation and maintenance, to data quality control, management, and information display. Through documented process management, COMC strictly controls the quality of all operations, minimizes human errors, and ensures the effective implementation of its quality assurance system. These efforts provide a reliable basis for data quality traceability, and in 2000, COMC was awarded the ISO 9001 International Quality Management Certification.
