In addition to enforcing strict quality control to ensure high-quality data, COMC has continuously improved observation success rates over the years, significantly enhancing Taiwan\u2019s ocean monitoring capacity. These valuable datasets have been extensively applied in various fields, including marine meteorological forecasting, fishing and navigation safety, marine recreation risk assessment, and offshore wind energy development, becoming an indispensable database for ocean-related activities, environmental research, and marine resource assessments.\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tSeveral government agencies have also made buoy and tide\u2013meteorological station data publicly accessible. Through COMC\u2019s rigorous and consistent quality management, these data have become reliable sources for the public to obtain real-time ocean and meteorological information \u2014 such as the Central Weather Administration\u2019s real-time sea condition portal, the Water Resources Agency\u2019s Coastal Hydro-information System, and the Dapeng Bay Marine Hydrometeorological Information Platform. Furthermore, the National Academy of Marine Research\u2019s \u201cGoOcean\u201d Marine Recreation Risk Information Platform integrates dynamic ocean\u2013meteorological data with risk management insights, providing users of different experience levels with timely information to assess and manage marine recreation risks.\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
